TAKE TIME TO-Learn from other

As I pulled my chair closer to hear what she had to say about her experiences in the past three years. I knew I was in for an evening of entertainment and humorous learning. We were particularly lucky that at 6pm Cafe de Essen was empty and this place which is normally associated with a buss of activities was as quiet as the night. I looked around me and was impressed by the class roof and its project of light that gave the whole place feeling of warmth and comfortableness that you don’t normally find in cafes like this.

“It was the best decision I ever made” she said, picking up the glass

“Really.....how come??” I replied

“For the simply reason, that I used to wait for the BBC to pay me £2000.00, but know it like I can make that within two days” she said speaking with such clarity and expression of passion that it was hard to ignore what she saying

“Do you” I said

“Yes to me I can’t understand why most people are not doing”

The above conversation I was having with a friend who decided to pack their job and set up on their own. Now they have literally went from £2000.00 every month to making it every two days. Image that they are making in a month what BBC wanted to pay them in a year; I reckon they are earning almost a 12 year BBC salary in working on their own. Literally saving time on petty office politics, draining HR meeting and demanding inconsiderate persons.

My point is she has freed herself from the system, if we take time to learn from her maybe we too free ourselves from the system.
